My yorkie Suzi, and Shih tzu Miely, had their own christmas stockings stuffed with new toys and Bully sticks. I was not too sure on wrapping them so I took a toy out one at a time and watched who grabbed the toys first. Suzi went straight for the stuffed duckie, and ran away with it in her mouth. I watched her and hoped she new that it was not a real duck... I think they were oeverwhelmed by all the toys, but I new they were sooo happy. When I got to the Big chewy Bully sticks the toys were left , and they both took one and chewed on them the rest of the day. Their still are toys in the family room scattered all over the place. They had so much fun!
I am so glad you were there when Lucy fell into the pool. I would have so scared.
