I agree, you are going to want to be able to make your current furbaby feel safe and secure as you add the new skinbaby to the family. A newborn is so much work and so is a puppy. I'd wait. That way you can give yourselves time to adjust to your new baby and then take on another HUGE responsibility. You deserve time to rest and relax and adding two new family members would be like having twins.
