Are we nuts?
So my husband and I have a year old Yorkie boy and our first skin baby on the way in about 3 months! We've tossed around the idea of getting our first Yorkie a friend but now we're getting pretty serious about the idea. We've been told that Yorkies can get jealous and upset at a new baby and have had people recommend we get him a dog companion. Our boy loves other dogs and we think he'd do great with a second dog in the house . . . We just wonder if we're nuts adding a puppy when we'll have a newborn in a few short months. Our families tell us we're crazy to add another pup but on the other hand we're kinda worried about our first boy's reaction to the baby. He is our first Yorkie, so we're hoping that some of you who are more experienced with the breed might have some good insight. TIA!
