I also look at the craigalist ads. What gets me is when someone is looking for a small puppy for their 5 year old child, willing to pay a small rehoming fee.
Or the other ones about rehoming a small dog because they are moving. Lots of ads about rehoming dogs due to moving or expecting a baby. Right now their have been many "christmas puppies" listed.
