I apologize for bringing this topic up because I'm sure many of you have seen it time and time again. I've browsed multiple threads but they don't exactly answer my question.
So I am trying to figure out what type of coat my Layla will have. I've been around a few yorkie puppies recently and have noticed their different fur types. I saw one puppy (around Layla's age) whose fur looked wiry- nothing like my three and a half month old Layla's coat. I also saw one (similar age as well) who had a lot of fur and it looked really smooth and was shiny. That coat wasn't like Layla's either. At this moment her hair is soft and what I assume to be cottony. She doesn't have a thick coat like the other puppy, either. Her's is thinner. So my question is: Can her puppy coat at three months and two weeks indicate which coat she may have as an adult? Or can a puppy with a smooth, thick, shiny coat end up having a cotton coat/vice versa?
Also, she has very white/light blond hairs on the top of her head which makes her look like she's bald
. I keep getting comments like "Oh my God she's bald!" LOL! The fur on her body (where its growing) is looking like a grayish. What, in your opinion, can I expect color wise?
