Default Creating puppy outfits out of baby clothes

I have bought 2 different snap onesie size (0-3) for our 5 pound Yorkie Girl. Making these outfits are the easiest thing ever! What I do is cut a straight line so the snaps are off and then fold the bottom under and sew it. Then I cut down the belly (the side without the cute design) and slowly start cutting some of the extra fabric out until it fits her. Then I fold the raw edges in and sew it together. To make the outfit cuter and hid any sewing errors at the bottom, I sew on some type of lace or cute trim. I will try to post photos if I figure it out.
