We are switching from Broadband DSL to Wireless DSL. At least, I think that is what you call it, so my kids can have access to the internet on their laptops when they are home. So I got all my equipment, the router, the adapter and have it all hooked up. My question is, if it is supposed to be wireless, why do I still have to have an ethernet cable going from my computer to the router? It's no different than it was before, really. The wireless light on my router is solid and I am here so I have internet, but how is it wireless? LOL?
