I don't really notice that much difference. I think in the case of traumatized dogs it depends on which sex caused the trauma, they will definitely shy away from that sex. But, in a normal upbringing, they seem to love each equally, especially if they are neutered. My girls lay on whichever lap is most available. The boys as well. Dogs tend to gravitate to the one who provides the most personal care. DH always takes the boys out to potty so they will go to him first, I do all the feeding so they come to me for that reason. Okay, enough rambling..bottom line...not really...LOL
