Thank you both for the feedback. I have done some thinking and do know that Shih tzu's are prone to getting overweight. A high protein diet may not be suitable for her. I agree that it is important to feed a high quality diet . A little goes a long way. It would be nice if I can find the right kibble for both dogs. I may have to start feeding them separtely and on a schedule diet.
