5. Ear Plucking needed-ye this really isn't a do-it-yourself job for someone not really familiar with ear cleaning already let alone it's not great for some dogs most groomers include it in their services the average grooming service here is $30-$50 including shampoo, condition, clipping, ear cleaning-plucking if needed, anal glands cleared, nailed clipped, all the basics. Well some charge only $7 for ear plucking I'd pay a professional and watch a couple times first...
MY POINT here is most of the possible causes require a vet to diagnoses as well as a prescription to treat, so you need to see a vet, and then if it comes back you know what it is and maybe it is someonthign you can treat yourself, but what if you think it's a yeast infection treat for that over the counter and you find out it was a fungal infections and it spreads to the inner ear...that can cause loss of hearing, further infection bacterial build up fever...you get where I'm going here?
Oh and some food can cause infections of various types because of their high content of sugars and other irritants. Watch the food you feed them dogs are not like us they are so cause and effect of what they eat it's not even funny, I found out the hard way one of my dogs is allergic to corn another shouldn't have red meat, we're on a grain-less natural non-red meat diet here now and a raw diet, huge difference. Best of luck let us all know..
I agree.
I came looking for an update on him.
