Other than the stool thing now, he is still behaving markedly more normal than a couple of days ago. I'm waiting for my vet to open and I will call. However, I also have to call the pediatrician for my daughter, who is home sick with a possible tonsillar abscess (she was in the hospital 2 weeks ago for this on the other side); they said if it continues, a tonsillectomy is in order (she 16) . Oh, and did I mention my 12yo son is also home sick with aches and a sore throat? So sorry for the babble, but any ideas/input would be appreciated till I can get in touch with Rocco's vet. Then maybe I'll go to work. When it rains it pours.
I'm sorry. You've got three sick kids. Of course, one's a furkid, but still a kid. I don't know what's going on with Rocco. The stool color would make me think of pancreatitis, but I'm sure there are other things that could cause that, too, that I'm not aware of. Once you get your kids well, if your vet doesn't give you some answers, perhaps it is time for a specialist. I hope you can get some rest soon. Try to take care of yourself, too, so you don't get sick. I know. Easier said than done.
