 Can someone tell me why??
I came across a pup that I was interested in that was advertised as AKC. When questioning about the pup the seller tells me that her parents are AKC registered and she spent a fortune on them but she will not let the puppies go with any kind of registration at all. No limited AKC. I understand not letting them go with full AKC rights, but why wouldn't they register the pups and let them go with limited registration? She said she could show me the parents papers but wouldn't be registering the litter. This sets off a red flag to me but I wonder if maybe I'm just missing something that someone could fill me in on.
