I am so glad you can take him in the morning. Getting in on Friday is so much better than having to wait until Monday. The Purdue Vet hospital was good for us because they could see him in the ER, then immediately transfer him to the medical, then someone from neurology came first thing on Sunday morning to look at him. It is good to have a place where all the experts are.

If you feel he needs to go into the ER tonight, then don't wait. I was considering waiting...if I would have done that he would certainly have passed before the day was over, and the doctor said it would have been painful for him. He still passed, but instead of scary pain, he just went to sleep. Ugh...it is hard to type this.

Thank you for the encouragement. The ER here is different, there is a rotation of normal vets and they only bring in specialist on certain days. One week Eye, one week ?. Never all here in 1 week or anything you can rely on. His name is Bubba, because of the bubble on his little head. I have already lost a yorkie at the ER because of gross incompetence so I only consider them in emergency. This has been on going since his birth and I have taken him to 2 vets ever since I saw declining changes. A total of 5 visits in 3 weeks and several phone calls all stating I have to wait until he is older. Tomorrow, I will feel much better knowing this vet is qualified. Thank you for your prayers. Mary
