I spoke with Claire this morning. Her DH is having his rehab daily and of course, he wants to go home. He is also having some speech therapy. I'm sure he won't get better overnight. It is so very sad that one has to jump through hoops to get the proper care they need and deserve. You pay your insurance premiums for years and then you have to fight tooth and nail to get the care you need and are entitled too. I wish things could be different. I have had to be an advocate for my mother too. It can be very frustrating and time consuming. It almost seems as if they try to wear you down so you'll go away. I will keep you posted on how things are going. Thanks again for all of your thoughts and prayers for Claire and her husband.
