I totally wan tot see pics of your baby! Shnorkie or Snorkies or Mini Schnauzer Yorkie crosses are just my favorite! I think they are the best of my two favorite breeds...well I have a Schnorkie whom is the absolute most undesirable result of the crossing...he's perfect to me, I've also a Yorkie and Miniature Schnauzer here too!
Sorry, but most use Schnorkie and Snorkie interchangeably. I don't think I have EVER heard any of the mixes have one name for a 50/50 mix and a different name for a 25/75 mix. What would you be using for a reference since there is really no official breed called either, no dictionary entry defining either? All the breeders that I found online use the terms interchangeably. They even say "snorkie aka schnorkie" and "A Snorkie puppy, sometimes spelled Schnorkie" and other variations of the same thing. Dogbreedinfo has a list of so-called hybrid dogs, they list snorkie but not schnorkie. Hybrid-Dogs.com lists only the snorkie too. So, I think someone might have given you more incorrect info with the difference in spelling meaning a different percent of yorkie in the mix. I found breeders callaing them snorkie with 50/50 mixes as well as 25/75 mixes. Seems like snorkie is the preferred spelling but more than half do list both spellings.
