That is so scary! We had a similar experience with Chip. My cousin was holding Chip outside and Chip wanted down to play but my cousin wasn't letting him down. Just as my cousin went to put him down, Chip jumped, fell, and hit his little leg on the concrete. He screamed and started trying to run and kept falling over. I grabbed him up real quick and started screaming for my husband to get in the car cause we were rushing him to the vet... but hubby being insanely calm as he was told me to put him down and Chip started walking around just fine. I was so scared when that happened thinking he broke his leg, but he's fine. So glad Hot Rod ended up okay!!!
