Being in the military means I will eventually have to make a trip that will require the pups to ride cargo. In no way would I be excited about putting them in cargo but it would either mean re-homing them where I'd worry about the kind of life they would have away from me, or bringing with me (where they are happy) where they would have a very boring 8-ish hour flight in cargo. I don't believe that it is
inhumane when precautions are taken to ensure they will be comfortable for the ride.
Obviously it is your choice to not ship your pups, but I think it's unfair that you would place me in a category due to circumstance that are not entirely in my control. I understand your concern because flights can be very stressful on pets (not just yorkies) but sometimes people have no choice and must ship their pet so they can still be with them.
I honestly don't even see a reason for this post, it sounds like you are attempting to get a rise out of people who do ship dogs, or have had them shipped to them. Take a step back and realize that not everyone in the world walks in the same shoes as you, and don't be quite so offensive towards them just because they have different circumstances.
