What love you showed your boy! I'm so sorry for your loss. I want to commend you on listening to him. I had to put my beloved cat down early this year. I had her for 16 years (I am not a cat person either, very allergic, but I loved her!). She had been with me longer than anyone. Saying goodbye to an old friend is so hard. I felt like you...I looked in her eyes and knew the time had come.
