Just kinda seems like it would be a pain to put a harness on the dog every 30-60 minutes..or no? Please help me with what you guys think! Nope! Always walk a Yorkie on a harness. It's not so much of a hassle to put on a harness. Especially once they are used to putting it on and taking it off. Levi knows exactly which leg to put through first (we use step-ins), so all I have to do at this point is hold it for him and snap it.
I'll leave his harness on for a few hours at a time, especially if we are running in and out of the house a lot that day. He has never seemed bothered by wearing his harness, and I do keep an ID tag on his harness. He only wears a collar if we are going out of the house for an extended period of time (his collar has another name tag and his rabies tag).
