I agree...this is terrible.
Here is another twist. I checked prices to fly with Copper a couple of months ago, it would have required us changing airlines on the way to the destination...so, if you have a layover and have to change airlines, the way I understand it is that you have to pay the new airline $100 also. Instead of it costing $100 one way, it would be $200 and $400 for the round trip. My ticket wasn't even going to be that much. I decided the trip wasn't worth it.
