When my kids come to me they wear 9 and 15 so they pretty much thought they could get away with verbal murder. our mom let them cuss up a storm for everything from forgetting homework to dropping a fork at the dinner table. for me its not so much what they say as how they say it. i cannot stand to hear the kids talk like ghetto kids in movies(the low income kind not the sad world war two Jewish kind)
because of this i make the kids speak perfectly i will not even let them use contractions until they learn to speak like real polite members of society
This is only a problem when i slip up or when there friends are over but the only form of even cuss like words i let them use is Gosh
