you got her used to the noise of the trimmer, but not the sensation of it. when I started grooming mine and they did not know the trimmer, I would hold it in my hand and rest my had against them again and again until they quit pulling away from it, then I laikd the trimmer against their body and moved it around. It took a while, but they did get used to it, and now my male falls asleep while I am trimming his ears. course my wild child female Minnie is another story altogether. She is my houdini gal. |
