I agree using the word God or Jesus is wrong when used in vain. There are some religions that consider the names so sacred they are not to be spoken in any context, ever. As for any other words, I for one, believe they are just a happenstance scrambling of the alphabet. In england you use different words as 'bad words' that we don't consider bad, such as 'shag' and 'bloody'. I don't think there are any 'bad words', only what the people around you consider bad, and that is what you have to take into consideration. The 'f' word is one of my favorites and the climate in which I work cultivates and uses that word to its fullest advantage, always has. I wouldn't use it in church or around small children. My children were unfortunately raised in an all white county and since my daughter was the darkest kid in school (she is darker than me) the other kids called her the 'n' word. She used to come home crying all the time. I taught them early on that racial slurs were not to be used, ever, because you never know someone's racial background. There were no Polish jokes in our house, they were Nerd jokes, even way back then (my kids are 34 and 36 now). It isn't the words that are bad, it is the context and how they are used. If they are used to hurt or they are going to be heard by someone that they may hurt or offended then don't use them. That should be the rule of use. Pretty simple.
