If things are getting ugly for now; I would pick up all toys and treats from the floor.  Remove the items that he is attempting to guard and get aggressive over ~ until you get this under control.  That way, his relationship with your little girl won't be affected.   
When YOU are ready to play, introduce ONE or TWO toys (not his favorite ones either) into the mix and control the play.  He needs to know that the toys are YOURS and not HIS.  If he starts getting aggressive; remove the toys and try again later.   
As for treats; there are some treats that Ringo will still get aggressive over - one of them being bully sticks.  For that reason, he only gets a bully stick in his crate and we usually just put Lucy in hers too ~ with her bully stick.   
It just avoids any possible unpleasantness.
