haha yea i can totally understand what you mean as well. i guess it's just the simple fact that God's name is supposed to be respected and feared in a totally different way than our names are. to us we would never care that much, but to such an awesome and powerful deity such as God it changes things up a bit. i try not to take much offense because they aren't using my name in vain, but it does kinda have a harsh sound when you've been brought up to never ever say that. everyone's different all over the world and growing up teaches you to be kind and accepting of many ideas and personalities. so i would never call someone out, but i can't lie and say it doesn't bother me a tad. that's why most of the time you will see me do a OMgosh and not a flat OMG but sometimes i just put OMG totally meaning gosh/goodness and not God.
