AWWWW poofr baby. It does sound like it is from the clippers. Could also possibly be the anal glands were expressed wrong as well, that will cause to them scoot also.

I know that happened once a long time ago with one of mine. They have now have on file, to use only scissors and never to to erxpress anal glands. My Vet will be the only to express glands if need to be.

I hope he is feeling better soon.
