The vet said I could keep Joey overnight, but no one would be there to watch him so I saw no benefit in this. I guess vets want to make sure that they are not over stimulated. I'd check with the vet and see if someone will be there, otherwise, it might be safer to bring him home as long as you can keep him quiet. Also, some vets don't know that yorkies don't lose all their teeth on their own, so make sure he'll pull any remaining baby teeth, and this is also a good time for microchipping if you are thinking about doing that. Joey seemed fine after a couple of days, it's easier with males. Best of luck!
