at his age, honestly you REALLY need to nip this in the bud. SOME dogs just ARE territorial over food or treats or toys. I think you need to place him in a time out immediately when he does this. Physically remove him from the area for a short time. do NOT lock him in a crate or he will become afraid of it and you want the crate to be a safe haven for him. but none the less, remove him to another room. He will learn that the behaviour isn't acceptable. Also, try to make it easier on him but giving him his food seperately for a while to resist the temptation. I would sit by his food bowl and place your hand on the bowl like you are going to take it from him. Just move it slightly to see his reaction. If he growls, correct him by saying no, but do not remove your hand. If he lets you take the bowl, praise him. then immediately give the bowl back. At his young age it should be no time at all before he is able to "share". good luck. If you do not see a change in his behavior soon, I would consult a professional behaviorist.
