Yes I did after much thought and careful consideration. I searched for a small dog in my area for almost 2 years while in contact with Ellen during that time (and she was extremely patient with me and all my e-mails) as I didn't believe I was going to have to travel that far to get a puppy to love. Even though I only work 5 minutes from home and go home EVERY lunch hour and my husband drops in every mid morning and mid afternoon and we are homeboddies at night, I couldn't get a Pure Breed Breeder to sell me a dog since I wasn't home ALL day. I liked the look of the Yorkies but was afraid of the smallness of the Yorkie Breed and wanted something a bit bigger, so thought a Yorkie mix would be the perfect answer, although it appears Buddy is going to stay small and I wouldn't trade him for the world - he's the perfect size. Ellen was truly wonderful I and have nothing but high praise for her and her kennel.
