For tricks, buy a book or look for instructional videos on youtube. Here's one book I liked. Some of the tricks are geared for bigger dogs, but there are many a little dog can learn.

Good luck. Have I said Tommy is adorable yet?
Thanks! Tomorrow we're going to get up and we're going to go for a walk. I need the workout myself. We may walk a mile..or two.

I went online earlier today looking up obedience training for yorkies. I started our first lesson today: Learning his name. I used tiny strips of my vegan jerkey..he loves it..more than I do lol. He made good eye contact, but I could tell he was still kind of bored. I'm going to do more of the 'learn your name' exercises and teach him 'sit' tomorrow.

I'm going to make tomorrow an ACTIVE day for the both of us.

eta: Again, I'm laying here typing on my laptop, and he's laying across my back legs snoring away
