There are several red flags BUT if you really have your heart set on this -- try to make that trip - what you see MAY change your mind - remember - there are LOTS of good breeders out there as well as very bad ones - Being USDA licensed and on the suspension list is not a good sign.... but seeing with your own eyes may be the way to go before you shell out some serious cash.
I had an experience with a breeder - Brushy Creek Kennels in Hockley TX... and they emailed me ADORABLE puppy pictures - I think about 6 different pictures - when I made the long drive out there - they showed me a totally DIFFERENT puppy and tried to pawn it off as the one they were emailing me pictures of -
