My advice to you is to have what you need for after the surgery prepared now. Gilmore's knee surgery was emergency so I wasn't prepared. Thanks to the wonderful people I have met on this forum I have been able to get things needed to make Gilmore's and my life easier during the long 3 month recovery process.
Mom to Hot Rod (BO) has been wonderful in sending me one of her e collars quickly which are fabric rather than the horrible one he is wearing now. I know it will make it so much better because he is miserable in the one he is wearing now. I wish I had one in advance. |
Thank you so much! Well Gilmore is a great name and I really like it! We named her October because we found her and rescued her in October -- plus, I thought it was unusual.
Do you think it would be a good idea to order a collar like you ordered for Gilmore? How would I get in touch with her?
I definitely want to be prepared once she comes home! Thank you!
