An easy way to make a double loop bow it is to just take a 3 inch or so piece of ribbon and put it in a circle and sew the ends to the middle. Take another shorter piece of ribbon and do the same and attach it to the first. Sew a bead or other embellishment on the top, looping the thread around the whole thing, and sew a band on the bottom. I use spray stiffener on the ribbon (you can buy this at craft stores) and put large glue sticks inside the loops until the stiffener dries.
Ha ha this is how I attempted it but I used highlighters for the larger bow and pencils on the smaller one when I sprayed the stiffener on it! I have 2 that look really good and 2 that look hideous I ran to the craft store and got a mini bowmaker and that thing didn't work. I had better luck hand sewing my bows. I'll check out that link THANK YOU!
