When I got Zhoie, I seriously researched and debated what would be in her best interest. I opted against getting it, only because I don't believe the reimbursement is what I would expect. I do however, have funds put aside in the event it is needed.
I think it is an individual choice and what works best for you and your circumstances.
Also, I love my girl with all my heart. However, as much as I would want to go to depersate measures to save her, I know in my heart there is a limit of what I would put either one of us through. That too, is a choice for each individual and what they believe is the best for their baby and to what degree of treatment and lengths they are willing to go to.
