[QUOTE=Luvdogs2;3335964]When I am home, and not on campus with study groups, working on group projects, helping out Sr. Design students or working on campus - I'm home and I have tried the let the dog sit while I study, but it seems like she is always watching and when I get wrapped up into the studies or working on problems, she takes the opportunity to sneak out of the room and go do something destructive. I've even caught her acting like she went to the bathroom outside so she had "ammo" to use later.

I have to visually check to make sure she whittled or pooped outside to see if it's time to go back inside.

The dog is smart, don't get me wrong.

DUDE! seriously how old are you? You have 24 years experience with dogs right????? Yet you think the dog sneaks out to "pretend" to use the bathroom so she has ammo for later??????????? Like she is getting back at you or trying to make you cross!!! Dogs are intelligent but they certainly dont manipulate and plan pathetic things like that! they arent crafty like humans.

and Im doing my degree AND i work full time yet my dogs are well balanced and when i study they sit on my lap or on the spare bed and stare at me for hours...I say it's love and admiration and I feel so lucky to be loved by them the way I am.
