Children's couch? LOl maybe they're bitter over loosing couch privileges
! Might be the bed didn't have your smell and the couch was more of a neutral special privileged area like having them on your bed, they really feel like they are accepted into you pack when they can rest where you rest be it a couch or bed. Mine have taken over the couch so I have my awesome wing-backed chair I put at the computer that no dogs were allowed on...for the first month...now I can't lean back on it I'll squish one of the fur-babies...all three of them have claimed the pillow on y chair as the dog area of it.
