So far today the dogs have not tried getting up on the back! I think because it is a new couch and the back is taller they are just not going up there!!!! I'm thilled they are listening. If they didnt sag the top laying there it wouldnt be a big deal. But blanket or not they weigh the top down and over time it sags.
