Thanks again everyone. We survived our first night home and are moving steadily into the second. The first night was really hard on me, but BamBam seemed happy to be home and content to sleep 85% of the time. He's doing exceptionally well. He had a little wheeze that is completely gone at this point.

I'm concerned about his little ears. They were standing up for quite awhile before this happened and now they are slumped completely down. Has anyone experienced a sudden limpness in the ears after major illness in their little one? I'm concerned that the oxygen deprivation may have caused some permanent damage? I'm not terribly worried about the actual look of his ears, they are really cute floppy. My line of thought is if his ears are damaged, what else? I want to be as prepared for his future as I possibly can be. I am going to call my vet in the morning with my concerns, but these thoughts keep swirling in my brain and are making it rather difficult to sleep!
