I thought I would update my situation. On advice from the trainer I am working with a clicker and positive reinforcement via treats and a few other little things like hooking his leash to the front of his halter so I can pull him gently toward me and away from the stimulus. My baby is improving already. We still have work to do but I know we will get there. Hurray!!

Before there was nothing I could do to get his attention. Now, it's very easy to get his attention, stop the barking.screaming, give the treat, and continue our walk.

Oh, I am so glad things are going better and the trainer is helping. Looking forward to more updates in the future.
