Thank you for your replies Ringo1 and LadyMom.

I did adopt them both at the same time and it does make walking them very difficult. There are cats, squirrels and other dogs almost everywhere you go.

I have tried several techniques I know on him and nothing works so I have contacted a trainer that works only with positive reinforcement that is very close to me. She has a big dog that is specially trained to help with problems just like this. I hope we can start working with her after Thanksgiving.

I already deeply love my boys and know we can work through any problems that they have, which is really very few for adoptees. They aren't our first rescue dogs.

And Ladymom, I love that poem.
