Being in a collar 24/7 seems really uncomfortable. And come to think about it, I wouldn't sleep with something around my neck, so it wouldn't make sense for me to have my dog do that. Okay now I feel better about having mine attached tot heir harnesses and after seeing so many choking dog stories I'm not changing my mind about collars-many people have noted break away collars-well if your dog gets out anyways and they say squeeze through your fence-wouldn't the break away come off and they'd be collar-less? I'm sticking to my harnesses they seem safer and more comfortable plus as I said my harnesses are bright orange and reflective in case my dogs get away on a walk they are more likely to be seen wearing these and not God forbid ran over or hidden etc.
