When we go out Rizzo has his collar on with rabies/registration tag on him, otherwise no. The tags they give out here are massive, and they annoy Rizzo, so unless we're out and about I don't see a need to wear them. My house has steel doors that cover the interior doors, plus my gate is over 6ft high and also steel...plus he doesn't try to dash away from me, he likes to keep me within eye shot of him as I'm his big tough back-up in case the situation with the cats or chickens get sticky
Plus he re-call does get better and better every day, he doesn't like to come when I'm standing next to someone he doesn't know, he'll stop and stare at me, sometimes even walk slowly to me, but when strangers are around he is wary of everything. We're working on that, but he's just a shy boy.
