I would never buy a dog from the Amish as I have heard and saw way too many things...anyway yes I would take him asap since he has had it for a while too. Who knows how long before you got him and since you have had him now over a month...yes take him in asap!! Plus I am sure he is in need of a vet check. It is best to get a vet check when you get a new puppy to make sure all well. Good luck
