I know, and it differed from the experience of the poster I was quoting. I also said there were exceptions to every generalization. Her generalization was that people with lots of money don't care as much about their dogs as people with not as much because they will kennel them at the drop of a hat. Obviously, the truth is somewhere in the middle.
