I adopted two Yorkies, both males, 1 is w years old. The other is 5 1/2 and is not well socialized with other dogs. He gets along pretty well with his fellow adoptee and they share a bowl well and don't squabble at all over treats or toys.

However, the 5 1/2 year old goes berserk when he sees a cat, big dog or squirrel. And no matter what I know to do he won't stop. He screams like he's been run over. It went on for almost 30 minutes when I took him for his vet check and I kept thinking OK he'll stop, but no. It's like he loses his mind and I can't bring him back.

He has been neutered and is very well behaved in all other ways. Even housebroken. Plus he has already learned sit, and down.

This screaming barking thing really has me, though.
