NO WAY trying to guilt you into anything but trying to educate your or other readers regarding shelter behavior. As a matter of fact it's a good thing that you walked away if you felt they did not meet your expectations. I'm sure they will find a wonderful home that will love and take care of them.
I have personal experience with adoption and rescues and just wanted to share with everyone~just as you did.
Here is a wonderful thread of many members that shared their stories about their additions to their family that turned into wonderful little yorkies. They were in all types of situations and conditions. With time, compassion and love they all blossomed into beautiful little yorkies.
