At first I thought I would not boycott them when I read they had removed the one book. But this is not just a dislike or a pet peeve. It is something SO WRONG that no one should eve think about helping advocate it. An instruction manual on how adults can sexually abuse children???? How can that be right? I still wonder how it can be legal. They have charged people for their internet sites when they were encouraging violence "inciting a riot" and found it is against the law -- so why not this. I just think I personally have to start drawing some lines in the sand.

I won't boycott every company that does something I dislike. For many subjects, I very much respect their right to disagree and feel like they have just as much right to their opinion as I do -- BUT NOT THIS! I feel like I have stood around silently on too many issues and things are definately getting out of hand. If no one ever draws that line and says "NO I am not going along with this," then there will be no end to the downward spiral. I do not expect all people to have the same values, ethics, morals, or religion as I do. But I do expect all people to respect the rights and bodies of others, especially children. I'll watch, if they remove the others too, then I will consider doing business. That way I feel even though the company has no morality, at least it is responsive to the majority. We need to start wielding our financial sword to get some of these companies to clean up their act. It might be a small step but it is at least in the right direction.

I do respect the rights of others to make different choices though and I'm only explaining why I am going to do this -- not trying to make you change your mind.
