 Vectra vs. Frontline, etc.
Had always used Frontline and/or Advantage or Advantix, but none are working any longer for our dogs. Our vet recommended Vectra, and it worked for a few days - no adverse reactions from either dog- but then the fleas appeared again. We live on a wooded property with racoons, squirrels, possums, rabbits, and loads of birds, so we had to spray the yard with pyretheium (sp?) and then put Vectra on the pups. We then put diametaceous (sp?) earth all over the yard, and we finally have the fleas under control. |
