One time my husband came home. As he was unlocking the front door he thought Beemers bark sounded too close. That little fearless bugger had squeezed out of the playpens, gotten a sticky bug trap caught on his face, gone through the baby gate, and somehow gotten down the stairs. We wish we had a camera on him to see how he accomplished all that. He hasn't gone down the stairs since but we have to be so careful with him. He is absolutely fearless! |
Oh My! I bet that scared you half to death! They can certainly do things that seem impossible. Annie is still little enough to go right through the baby gate we have separating the carpeted half of the house (bedrooms and hall). The others just sit there and pout as she goes easily through and they are restrained. I still can't leave her out and about if I am out of the house though so they get the benefit then, while she has to go in her crate. It is good to share stories like yours as a reminder to us all -- they are a mix of Houdini and Hollywood Stuntmen when they want to do something!
