With chew toys, steer clear of rawhides. They absorb moisture and swell, making them a big choke risk. Bacteria also grows on them, due to the moisture and this may make your Yorkie sick.

Mostly, I use hooves as chew toys for my Yorkies. The hooves are very durable and they can be filled with stuffing (peanut butter, Kong stuffing, homemade, etc.). They are also very cheap.

I also like buying dried sinews - they are a bit smelly, but my Yorkies love them and they finish them quite quickly. This is great because they aren't lying around and they don't really have time to fight over them.

Raw bones are also great chew toys!

With chew toys, I like to keep it as natural as possible and I only give them animal parts to chew (because this is what they would have done in the wild). If you can get bully sticks, definitely try those! We don't get them here, but I've heard some amazing things about them from other YT members.
